Set to be the smallest EV in the range and comes with a compact SUV profile
First Teaser for The Hyundai Inster: An Affordable EV
Hyundai one of the choices for electric
Hyundai remains one of the most popular choices when it comes to electrification with the Tucson PHEV and full electric Ionic5, Kona and Ioniq6 models.
A journey that started in 2016 with the original IONIQ and now features some of the most striking and eye-catching designs in the mainstream marketplace.

New model from Hyundai
Not a manufacturer to rest on their laurels, Hyundai has just released a teaser of their latest new model – the all-new Hyundai Inster – an electric city car set to fill the void in the lower end of the range and challenge the likes of the Citroen e-63 and Dacia Spring.
Full details will be provided to the world when the car is launched at the Busan International Mobility Show on June 27th – but in the meantime this is what we’ve gleaned.
‘Good things come in small packages’ is Hyundai’s claim of the new Inster – set to be the smallest EV in the range and comes with a compact SUV profile (borne from the Hyundai Casper SUV sold exclusively in South Korea).
Robust bold looking wheel arches, unique LED lighting and a higher ride height are some of the more visible features.
The LED lights look set to feature a recurring Hyundai design from other EVs – including ‘pixel-graphic turn signals’ and unique to the Inster, circular light clusters in the front bumper.

Electric range and entry-level pricing
The Hyundai Inster is set to offer a range of up to 220 miles and a starting price of around £20,000 – great features in terms of range and price for a car destined to spend most of its life in an urban environment.
There is little under two weeks before the full reveal and we can’t wait to see the vehicle in the flesh and the impact it will have on EV uptake.
Just imagine how little of your salary you will need to sacrifice for one of these on our salary sacrifice scheme!
